Why Carrot Fries?

Carrots are not only tasty but also incredibly nutritious. Packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, carrots offer numerous health benefits, including improved eye health, a strengthened immune system, and even glowing skin. By turning them into fries, you can transform this humble vegetable into a crunchy and satisfying snack that rivals traditional potato fries. These are great as a side dish or appetizer.

Ingredients:

3-4 carrots

2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

Dash of Tony's Creole Seasoning

1 egg

1 cup of panko bread crumbs

Canola Spray

Crack the egg and whisk with a splash of water in a bowl. Pour panko bread crumbs into a 2nd bowl. Dip each carrot stick in the egg mixture and then roll them in the panko bread crumbs until coated.  It takes about a cup of Panko breadcrumbs. You may need to add more if necessary.

bowl of egg wash and a bowl of breadcrumbs

Place carrots on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes.

    1. Yes they could. You might need to adjust the cook time. Air Friers are like mini convection ovens.
